Patzina Lotz Among the Best Law Firms for Insurance Law in the Handelsblatt ‘Best Law Firms 2025’

For the first time, Handelsblatt, in cooperation with the US specialist publisher ‘Best Lawyers’, has identified the most renowned law firms in various specialist areas and regions. PATZINA LOTZ, a commercial law firm from Frankfurt specialising in dispute resolution, is one of the best law firms in Hesse in insurance law and is listed in the 2nd band. Following the rankings of the best lawyers, in which name partner Thorsten Lotz was once again included this year, this new survey now focuses on the law firm and the other partners working there. It is thus an overall view of the firm’s strength in the area of dispute resolution in insurance cases of all kinds.

To identify the law firms, Best Lawyers uses a multi-stage selection process in which the nominated law firms and clients are asked to answer questions about their areas of practice, experience with the law firm, quality of work and cost efficiency. Applicants are asked which law firms they would recommend in the event that they are unable to take on a mandate themselves. The data collected is then compared and rankings are compiled in national and regional groups. The first band includes those law firms that are within a certain percentage of the highest rated law firms, while the second band includes those law firms that are within a certain percentage of the next highest rated law firms.
